Away Games

A series of related shorts, in which Tim Lincecum and Buster Posey like each other. A LOT.

[ Upgrade ] -- The girl at the front desk has the hots for him, so Buster gets an upgrade to a suite without even asking.
[ Now What ] -- Buster made a big promise to Lincecum during warm up, but it wasn't until after the game that he realized that now he would have to live up to it.
[ Family Fun Meet and Greet ] -- shard of ice, mostly because of what she says.
[ Room Service ] -- Buster opens the door without even looking through the peep hole.
[ Ricochet ] -- The ball ricochets off the bat and into Buster's mask before he can even blink.
[ Wake Up Call ] -- Three hours isn't enough time for anything serious.
[ Relief ] -- Usually, when Tim's relationships go south, he understands why.
[ Forget ] -- In order to be a successful Major League pitcher, you have to have to be able to forget.
[ Stop ] -- Ninety nine problems, but a pitch ain't one.
[ Apology ] -- Buster wonders what sign he needs to put down to get Lincecum to meet his eyes.
[ Connecting Room ] -- "What do you want?" Buster whispers. "Tell me what you want."
[ Naked ] -- Tim wakes up naked.
[ On Hold ] - Tim wondered if Huff, perched on a stool in between them, had felt warm and wondered why.
[ Fixer ] - Something is wrong with Tim.
[ Stupid Story ] - Normally, Buster likes Pittsburgh.

The Rookie Year Series

A series of related shorts, in which Tim Lincecum and Brandon Crawford like each other. A LOT.
(I know, I know, Crawford's not a rookie anymore, but, evs. I'm not changing the name, now.)

[ Sent Down]
Brandon Crawford gets sent down.
[ Called Up]--Brandon Crawford gets called up. A sequel to Sent Down.
[ Fall League]--Arizona sucks. The third in the Rookie Year series.
[ Warm Up]--Tim can't watch the game from the stands. The fourth in the Rookie Year series.
[ Drive]--Tim drives. The fifth in the Rookie Year series.
[ Clinch]--Tim tells Bochy he's not coming back to the park, he can't make it in. The sixth in the Rookie Year series.

Stand-Alone Stories

[ Back] -- Buster Posey comes back.

[ Haze] -- Part of being a rookie is the hazing, and Brandon has been a rookie often enough to know that he's a particularly ripe target.

[ Heartbreaker ] -- Stewart's got an interesting smile--his teeth seem pointy, somehow, like a friendly vampire's teeth--and Tim can't stop looking at it.

[ High Quality Stuff] -- No one expects much of Vogelsong--he's just a warm body to slot into the rotation until Zito is back on both feet--so his first outing is a nice surprise for the whole team.

[ Journeyman ] -- One of the players involved in a gay sex scandal is a five-tool player having a breakout year. The other is Chris Stewart.
[ The Game In Front Of You] -- Lincecum's side of Journeyman.

[ Part III]
