Frank Iero

Frank Anthony Iero was born on October 31st 1981 in Belleville, New Jersey, USA. He is currently the rhythm guitarist and back-up vocalist for My Chemical Romance. He is also the lead singer for his band Leathermouth, which is produced by his music label/clothing line Skeleton Crew. He was bullied throughout high school. He briefly attended Rutgers University on a scholarship before dropping out to pursue My Chemical Romance.

Frank was recruited into MCR after his band Pencey Prep broke up. He plays guitar on only two of the songs on MCR's debut album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love: "Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us" and "Early Sunsets Over Monroeville". He is both the youngest and shortest member of My Chemical Romance at age 25 and standing at a height of 5' 4". For a short period of time, Frank was roommates with fellow MCR bandmate Mikey Way.

He got married to his long-time love Jamia in March of 2008 and they are currently expecting twins. Frank suffers from Epstein-Barr Syndrome, which is why he falls ill so easily and so frequently. He attended Catholic school growing up, where he learned to tie a tie. He has been playing in bands since he was eleven years old.
