After Jane Seymour's tragic death, Henry decided to remarry. He chose a German Protestant noblewoman called Anne.
Unfortunately (or, perhaps, fortunately for Anne) Henry didn't like the way Anne looked. So the marriage was never consummated and Henry asked Anne to agree to having the marriage annulled. Anne wisely agreed.
Anne lived the rest of her life in England, esteemed, rich and happily managing her own estates. In many ways, she is the luckiest of the wives of Henry VIII.
