I was grateful to adopt the fanlisting for Frida Kahlo from Missy (thanks, Missy!) because I love Frida's art and admire her joie de vivre. My sister's an artist too and introduced me to her work. When I was in Mexico a few years back, I visited Frida's house and the house Diego built as well. Both buildings are incredibly indicative of the personalities of Frida and her husband and both are filled with their work.

Frida is inspirational to me because she was such a tough cookie and her art is so amazingly vibrant. Read more about her at Wikipedia.
