Welcome to the approved fanlisting for the wonderful movie Braveheart, which tells the story of Scottish rebel leader and national icon William Wallace.
The original screenplay by Randall Wallace draws from a centuries-old poem by Blind Harry. The movie won five Oscars, is noted for some of the most vivid battle scenes ever committed to film, and although the historical accuracy of some of the subplots is questionable in places, Braveheart is based on the true story of a hero who defied a king.
