Free hosting

I offer free web hosting.

It is a completely free service. No cost, no ads, no kidding. It comes with lots of space, and lots of bandwidth, too.

Hosting is offered to assist other fans and creative types to have their own websites, without expense and without having to have advertising.

I host in two main ways.

First, if you have a website, I can host it, whether you have a domain, (e.g. http://yourname.com/), or if you have a site but would like a subdomain (e.g. http://yourname.tehomet.net/) or a subdirectory (e.g. http://tehomet.net/yourname/) on tehomet.net or on one of my other domains. Generally I set people up with a FTP username and password and they do their own thing. But if you would like help with design, coding, and upload, that's no problem. Beginners are welcome.

Secondly, I host files for download. Say you don't have a website as such, but you do have a vid, or other large file that you want to make available for download. If you upload your vid to a free service, the vid's download link will keep expiring and you will need to keep re-uploading. Instead of all that, you can upload your files to the servers here and the links will not expire.

If you'd like to be hosted here, there are terms and conditions.

1. You must not upload anything illegal or unethical. If you're not sure about a particular item, feel free to ask me.
2. You must abide by the terms of service, acceptable use policy, and anti-spam policy of my web host at all times.
3. You cannot use this hosting for profit, since it's provided free of charge.
4. You are responsible for backing up your own files.
