free hosting

I offer free web hosting. It is a completely free service. No cost, no ads, no kidding. It comes with lots of space, and lots of bandwidth, too.

I host in two main ways.

First, I can host websites. So if you have a domain, I can host it (e.g. http://yourname.com/). Otherwise, if you have a site but you don't have a domain, you can have a subdomain (e.g. http://yourname.tehomet.net/) or a subdirectory (e.g. http://tehomet.net/yourname/) on tehomet.net or on slashaholics.org or on one of my other domains. Generally I set people up with a FTP username and password and let them get on with it. But if you would like help with design and upload, that's no problem. Beginners are welcome.

Secondly, I host files for download. Say you don't have a website as such, but you do have a vid that you want to make available for download. However, if you upload your vid to a free service, the vid's download link will keep expiring and you will need to keep re-uploading. Instead of all that, you can upload your file to the servers here and the link will not expire.

If you'd like to be hosted here, look at the terms & conditions and the anti-spam policy of my webhost. You must abide by them at all times. The only other requirements are that you can't use this hosting for profit, since it's provided free of charge, and also that you must not upload anything illegal or unethical. If you're not sure about a particular item, just ask.
