Welcome to Exceptional, the one and only tfl.org approved fanlisting for Alan Alda. Perhaps most famous for his anarchist wartime medic Hawkeye Pierce in the classic TV series M*A*S*H, Alan has had a lengthy career as not only an actor with roles in award winning series and movies such as The West Wing and The Aviator, but as a director and writer also. His many other interests include setting up the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science and the Clear + Vivid podcast series.
